BMW 3 series E46

1 Remove facing of a cover of a luggage carrier, address to Section Removal and installation of facing of a cover of a luggage carrier.
2 Remove the holder of a lamp of the right back lantern, address to Section Replacement of lamps накаливания external illumination.
3 Disconnect a cable of a back lantern at a cover of the cylinder of the lock.

4 Turn away two screws of fastening of a cover of the cylinder of the lock. Delay a cover on the right side from sheet and disconnect it from an aperture. Take out a cover sideways from directing and remove. 5 Rasstykujte a socket-1.

6 Remove blocking-2 and disconnect draught-3 at the lock cylinder.
7 Turn out screws-5.
8 Turn the lock cylinder to the right so that the directing stood in sheet cuts, then remove the cylinder downwards.
9 Rasstykujte a socket at the lock of a cover of a luggage carrier.

10 Turn away screws of fastening of the lock in a cover of a luggage carrier and take out through an aperture in sheet.

11 Disconnect blocking of draught of a drive, disconnect draught and take out the lock.

12 Connect draught to the lock, connect blocking.
13 Insert the lock and fix its screws. Join a socket.
14 Insert the lock cylinder into body cuts, turn on the left and fix. If the lock cylinder is replaced, replace the rubber plug in a luggage carrier cover.

Check up lock and cylinder work at an open cover of a luggage carrier.

15 Connect the lock to draught of a drive, restore blocking.
16 Join a socket.
17 Enter a cover of the cylinder of the lock at the left in directing, press on the right and latch. Fix a cover two screws.
18 Connect electric wires of a back lantern at a cover.
19 Establish the holder of a lamp of a back lantern, address to Section Replacement of lamps накаливания external illumination.
20 Establish facing of a cover of a luggage carrier, address to Section Removal and installation of facing of a cover of a luggage carrier.
