Tempostat (automatics of maintenance of the set speed) *

 

Tempostat allows to remember and automatically to support demanded speed at level not below 30 km/h.

Inclusion темпостата

Tempostat can be included already after ignition key turn in position 1. Press the button 1. Thus on a control panel the control lamp will light up.
You can use темпостатом.

Movement with the set speed, storing of speed and dispersal

Press the button 2.

Actual speed of movement which will be supported by a constant is entered into memory темпостата. Each subsequent pressing of the button speed will increase by 1 km/h.

If to keep the button 2 in the pressed position the car will be dispersed without influence on an accelerator pedal. If to release the button, the speed reached to this moment remains in memory and will be supported at this level.

Delay

Press the button 3.

If before movement already occurred in a mode of maintenance of the set speed by each pressing of the button speed will decrease for 1 km/h.

If to keep the button 3 in the pressed position at movement in a mode of maintenance of the set speed degree of opening throttle заслонки automatically will decrease also movement it will be slowed down. If to release the button the speed reached to this moment remains in memory and it will be supported at this level.

Work interruption темпостата

At included темпостате press the button 1. The control lamp continues to burn. If necessary you can take advantage again темпостатом.

Besides, work темпостата automatically interrupts in following cases:

- At braking.
- At deenergizing of coupling or while translating the lever of selector AT from position D in position N.
- For BMW 318i, 320i, 323i, 328i: if the set speed is exceeded throughout more 30 with and more than on 16 km/h.
- For BMW 320d: if the set speed is exceeded throughout more 30 with and more than on 16 km/h or decreases more than for 20 km/h.

Call of speed from memory

Press the button 4.

There will be a call of last of the entered values of speed to which it at first will be finished, and then begins to be supported at the set level. With ignition key turn in position 0 темпостат it will be switched off, and the entered value of speed will be erased.

Deenergizing темпостата

Having interrupted work темпостата, once again press the button 1. The control lamp will go out, and the value of speed kept in memory will be erased.

To use темпостатом it is impossible, if the line abounds with turns or if the raised intensity of movement does not allow to move in regular intervals, and also on slippery (because of snow, a rain, ice) road or weak (gravel, sand) a ground.

If at movement under a bias of brake effect of the engine it is not enough, the set speed can be exceeded. On liftings probably its reduction if capacities of the engine do not suffice.
