Thermoswitch checkThe thermoswitch is at bottom шлана on a radiator. It connects the electrofan when the temperature of a cooling liquid reaches certain value.
- The thermoswitch is necessary for checking up, if at a hot radiator the electrofan does not work.
- If the bottom hose of a radiator warm, the thermostat is serviceable. In the presence of malfunction of the thermostat the thermoswitch cannot connect the fan as it does not get warm by a cooling liquid.
Check of a thermoswitch without removal
1 Rasstykujte a thermoswitch socket.
2 Connect both contacts on the tip an auxiliary cable. If now the fan earns, malfunction is in a thermoswitch. Replace it. Fix a new thermoswitch with a new sealing ring the moment 20 Nm.
3 If despite a thermoswitch crosspiece, the switch does not work, check up reliability of connection of the tip with the electric motor of the fan and reliability of contact. Check up electric wires, the relay and the fan electric motor. Check up electric elements, address to the Head the Onboard electric equipment.
Check of the removed thermoswitch
5 Ship a thermoswitch in hot water to level of a carving and measure resistance. At temperature +93 ± 2°С resistance should make 0 Ohm, at temperature more low +89°С resistance should be infinite.
